An Act to amend an Act entitled, an Act to incorporate the Maryland Mutual Insurance Company of Baltimore, passed by the General Assembly of Maryland, session 1858, chap. 383, by changing the name and increasing the powers of said company; An Act to amend the Act of 1856, chapter 257, entitled an additional Supplement to the Act entitled, an Act incor- porating the Master and Wardens of Clinton Lodge, No. 83, of the Free and Accepted Masons; An Act to incorporate Corsica Lodge, No. 118, of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons; Which were read the first time and referred to the com- mittee on Corporations., An Act. to authorize the Judges of the Orphans Court in the several counties, who had charge of the Free School Fund, to pay out of any money in their hands, belonging to the said Fund, to the present Registers of Wills, under the Constitution of 1851, for their services, a reasonable compen- sation in preserving and keeping the School Fund from 1858. to the present time. Which was read the first time and referred to the com- mittee on the Judiciary. An Act to establish the Maryland Industrial School for Girls; Which was read the first time and referred to the commit- tee on Education. An Act to incorporate the Trustees of Mount Olivet Meth- odist Episcopal Church in Kent county; Which was read the first time and referred to the com- mittee on Corporations. An Act explanatory of the Acts of 1865, chapter 6, and 1865. chapter 19-1, and to impose storage upon certain to- bacco now exempt therefrom; Which was read the first time and referred to the commit- tee on the Judiciary. An Act to incorporate the Union Soldiers' Home of Mary- land; Which was lead the first time and referred to the com- mittee on Corporations. |
