An Act to amend the fourth article of the Code of Public
Local Laws by adding thereto additional sections providing
for the election of two additional Commissioners for the Board
of Police of the City of Baltimore;
Which was read and referred to the Baltimore city dele-
gation .
An Act to incorporate the Baltimore Lever Beater Press
Company.
Which was read the first time and referred to the com-
mittee on Corporations.
Also, the following House bills:
An Act to amend and re-enact the second section of the
Act passed on the twenty-fourth day of March, eighteen hun-
dred and sixty-five, entitled, an Act, to provide for the Regis-
tration of Births, Marriages and Deaths.
An Act to incorporate the Baltimore and Havana Steam-
ship Company,
An additional supplement to an Act, authorizing the
appointment of commissioners for the regulation an improve-
ment of the village of Greensborough, in Caroline county,
passed January session, eighteen hundred and twenty-six,
' chapter ninety-seven.
An Act, to amend an Act passed at January session,
eighteen hundred and fifty-three, chapter three hundred and
seventy-nine, entitled, an Act to amend an Act to incorpo-
rate the Mutual Insurance Company of Washington county,
passed at December session, eighteen hundred and forty-five-
chapter thirty-seven, and extend the charter of said Com,
pany.
An Act to amend the charter of the Western Maryland
Railroad Company, so that the number of Directors therein
be increased, and two of such Directors be citizens of Wash-
ington county.
A further supplement to tho Act of eighteen hundred and
sixty, chapter two hundred and seventy-four, entitled, an
Act to incorporate the Baltimore and Liberty Turnpike Com-
pany.
An Act entitled, an Act to authorize and direct the Com-
missioner of the Land Office to issue a patent for a tract of
land called Saint Barts.
An Act to prevent the sale of spirituous or fermented
liquors on or near the line of the Washington County Bail-
road.
An Act to make valid and effectual the .act of Charles R.
Steward as commissioner in the division of the real estate of
