94 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Jan. 27,
Mr. Tome, from the committee on Finance, to which waa
referred the bill entitled, an Act to refund money to John M.
Bond;
Reported it without amendment, and it was read the sec-
: ond time.
Mr. Ohr, from the committee on Federal Relations, to which
was referred the joint-resolutions relating to Provost Mar-
shals reported said resolutions ought not to pass.
The report was adopted and the resolutions were rejected.
Said resolutions were then returned to the House of Dele-
gates.
Mr. Clarke, from the committee on Judicial Proceedings, to
which was referred the bill entitled, an Act to extend the act
of 1865 in favor of certain parties indebted to the State, re-
ported it with amendments;
Which were read and adopted;
And it was read the second time.
Mr. Mackall, from the committee on Corporations to which
was referred the bill incorporating the Mount Washington
Mining company, reported it without amendment;
And it was read the second time.
Mr. McMaster, from the Select committeee, reported a bill
to authorize the Presbyterian congregation of Pitts Creek in
Worcester county to sell and convey certain land;
Which was read the first time, by special order the second
time, three-fourths concurring, and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading, read the third time by special order and
passed by yeas and nays as follow:
