The question recurring upon the adoption of the motion
of Mr. Pilkington.
Mr. Calvert, submitted the following amendment:
Amend by giving the memorial to those gentlemen who
desire it for reference.
Mr. Tull, called the previous question;
Mr. Smith, of Dorchester, moved to lay the amendment
on the table;
Decided in the negative.,
The question recurring upon the adoption of the motion of
Mr. Pilkington;
It was decided in the affirmative.

The Secretary of the Senate, delivered the Senate bill en-
titled, an Act to incorporate the Cecil and Harford counties
Boom Company;
Which was read the first time, and referred to the commit-
tee on Corporations.
Mr. Poteet, moved to have the bill printed.
Mr. Soper, called the previous question;
The question being, "Snail the main question bo now
put?"
It was decided in the affirmative.
The question recurring upon the motion to print the bill,
Mr. Mules demanded the yeas and. nays;
The demand being sustained,
