Section nine, line seventeen, after the word "eight" insert
"gold and silver;"
Which was read and adopted.
Mr. Turner submitted the following amendment:
Section nine, line seven, after the word "State" insert "or
without;"
Which was determined in the negative.
Mr. Billingslea, of Carroll, submitted the following
amendment;
Section ten, line first, strike out all between the words
"shall" and "require" in the second line;
Which was read and adopted.
On motion of Mr. Ohr,
The tenth section of the bill was stricken out.
Mr. Ohr submitted the following amendment:
Section twelve, lines eleven and twelve, strike out "Appeal
Tax Court" and insert "Board of Control and Review;"
Which was read and adopted.
Mr. Waters submitted the following amendment:
Line three, after the word "valued" insert "with intent
to escape assessment;"
Which was read and adopted.
Mr. Tome submitted the following amendment:
Section 1, line 13, after the word "exceeding" strike out
" one thousand " and insert " three hundred in discretion of
the court."
