90 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Jan. 27, Ordered, That when the Senate adjourn it stand adjourned untill to-morrow at 11 o'clock, when local and private bills only shall be considered; Determined in the affirmative by yeas and nays as follows
SATURDAY, January 27, 1866. On motion of Mr. Eaton, Leave was granted the committee on Judicial Proceedings to report a bill to amend section 42, Article 4, entitled "Po- lice," and to add additional sections thereto. Mr. Billingslea, of St. Mary's, submitted the following: Ordered, That the proceedings of the anti-registration con- vention held in Baltimore, and presented to this Senate, be entered upon the journal and referred to the select committee upon that subject; Which was read. |
