untill to-morrow at 11 o'clock, when local and private bills
only shall be considered;

On motion of Mr. Eaton,
Leave was granted the committee on Judicial Proceedings
to report a bill to amend section 42, Article 4, entitled "Po-
lice," and to add additional sections thereto.
Mr. Billingslea, of St. Mary's, submitted the following:
Ordered, That the proceedings of the anti-registration con-
vention held in Baltimore, and presented to this Senate, be
entered upon the journal and referred to the select committee
upon that subject;
