Bateman and 63 others of Harford county, in favor of the repeal of the Reg- istry Law; Which was real and referred to the committee on Registra- tion. Mr. Fawcett presented a petition from Edward W. Owen and 31 other citizens of Montgomery county, for the modifi- cation of the Registry Law; Which was read and referred to the committee on Regis- tration. Mr. Roberts presented a memorial from Philip W. Downs and 234 other citizens of Caroline county, for the repeal of the Registry Law; Which was raid and referred to the committee on Regis- tration. Mr. Tull presented a memorial from B. A. Lancaster, Hugh Luckett, J. E. Hayden, Jno. Hamersley and others of Charles county, in relation to the violation of the Sabbath; Which was read and referred to the committee on the Ju- diciary. On motion of Mr. Lusby, Ordered, That when this House adjourns to-day, it stands adjourned until Monday next, at 11 o'clock. On motion of Mr. McCauley, Ordered, That the Clerk be and is hereby directed to place on the files, on Monday, all the bills that have been intro- duced, whether printed or not. On motion of Mr. Darling, Ordered, That 1, 000 copies of the Report of the House of Refuge be printed for the use of members of this House. [See Document K.] Mr. Roberts submitted the following order: Ordered, That no bill be taken up out of its order by a sus- pension of the rules during this day's session; Which was rejected.
