The bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Washington and Point Lookout Railroad Company; Was taken up for consideration on its third reading. Pending the consideration of which, The House adjourned. SATURDAY, February 3, 1866. The House met and was opened with prayer by the Rev. Mr. McNemar. Present at the call of the roll the following members: Messrs. Frazier, Speaker, Agnew, Angel, Bartell, Barron, Brown, Buhrman, Chew, Comegys, Cook, Cummings, Dar- ling, Dean, Eavy, Everhart, Fooks, Fawcett, Foster, Harris, Hazen, Hodson, Hoffman, Holloway, Hopkins, Jamison, King, Kirk, Lusby, Markey, McCauley, Miller, of Anne Arundel, Miller, of Washington, Mittag, Nairne, Penning- ton, Rider, Roberts, Robinson, Sherry, Silver, Smith, of Al- legany, Smith, of Dorchester, Soper, Tolson, Tull, Valliant, Warner, Watkins, Williams, Wilson, Wooden; Zeigler—52. The journal of yesterday was read and approved. Mr. Rider presented a petition from citizens of Somerset county in favor of a repeal or modification of the Registry Law; Which was read and referred to the committee on Regis- tration. Mr. Hopkins presented a petition from Guy Stephenson, Wm. F. Evans, Thomas Courtney and 43 other citizens of Harford county, for a repeal or modification of the Registry Law; |
