Gentlemen of the House of Delegates: The Senate has received your message, asking for the re- turn of the Bill entitled an act to permit Wm. H. Downs to hold the office of Justice of the Peace and Assistant Assessor, and herewith return said Bill agreeably to your request. By Order, C. HARWOOD, Secretary. On motion of Mr. Miller, of Anne Arundel, The vote by which the enacting clause of the said bill was stricken out, was re-considered, and the motion to strike out by general consent, was withdrawn. The bill was then read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as follow:
The said bill was then returned to the Senate. Also delivered the bill entitled, an act to incorporate the Merchant's steamship line, |
