The Senate and House committees on Printing respectfully
report that they have contracted with H. M. Murray to in-
dex the laws passed by the present session of the General
Assembly, for the sum of two hundred dollars.

Gentlemen of the House of Delegates:
"We respectfully request that you will return to us the Sen-
ate bill entitled, "an Act to incorporate the Merchant'8
Steamship Company."

We have received your message requesting the return of a
bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Merchants' Steam-
ship Company, and herewith transmit the same.

Which was real, assented to and sent to the Senate.
Aso, delivered joint resolution, relating to the State's in
terest in the Public Works;
Which was read the first time. ^
Also, joint resolution proposing to amend the tenth sec-
tion, of Article 2, of the Constitution of the State of Mary-
land;
Which was read the first time.
