1866.] OF THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES, 297 Mr. Miller, of Anne Arundel, submitted the following mes- sage; * BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES, February 2, 1866. Gentlemen of the Senate: We respectfully request your honorable Body to return to this House the bill entitled, an Act to permit Wm. H. Downs to hold the offices of Justice of the Peace and Assistant Assessor. By order, WM. R. COLE, Chief Clerk. Which was read, assented to, and sent to the Senate. On motion of Mr. Lee, Ordered, That on and after Monday next. this House hold three sessions a day; the morning session to commence at 10 o'clock, afternoon sessions at 4 o'clock, and the evening ses- sions at 7 1/2 o'clock. Mr. Rinehart submitted the following order. Ordered, That the office of Lamp Lighter be declared va- cated, and that the present incumbent, Robert S. Smith, re- ceive no more pay other than he has already drawn. Which was rejected. Mr. Valliant, from the committee on Printing, submitted the following REPORT: The House committee on Printing beg leave, very respect- fully, to report that they have contracted with Mr. Wm. R.
