Mr. Vickers submitted the following message:
BY THE SENATE,
January 26th, 1866.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates.
We have received your message proposing a joint meeting
of the two Houses, in the Hall of the House of Delegates, at
two o'clock, to-day, and respectfully concur therein.
By Order,
C. HARWOOD.
Secretary,
Which was read, assented to, and sent to the House of
Delegates.
The hour of two having arrived, the Hon. the President
and Senators repaired to the Hall of the House of Delegates,
who after a time returned, when the President took the
chair and presented the memorial of the Baltimore Conven-
tion, in favor of the repeal of the Registration Law;
Mr. Clarke, moved to have those proceedings placed upon
the journal;
Pending the question,
The Senate adjourned.
