1866.] OF THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES. 265, Which was read the second time and ordered to be engross- ed for a third reading. On motion of Mr. Cronise, The rules were suspended and the bill, by special order, read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as follow:
NEGATIVE. Mr. Smith, of Frederick—1. The said bill was then sent to the Senate. Mr. Smith, of Allegany, from -a Select committee, reported favorably, with amendment, Senate bill entitled, an Act to authorize the mayor and councilmen of Cumberland to issue bonds of said city, and build a bridge across the Potomac river at said city; Which was read the second time. Mr. Nairne, from a Select committee, reported favorably Senate bill entitled, an Act to repeal sections 96, ',l7, 98, 99, 100, 101 of article 22 of the Code of Public Local Laws for Worcester county, entitled "roads" and to re-enact other sections in lieu thereof; Which was read the second time. 21 |
