Mr. Smith, of Dorchester, submitted the following amend-
ment:
Line C, section C, amend by adding after the words "pub-
lic works'," "not exceeding two thousand dollars;"
Decided in the affirmative.
Mr. Smith, of Frederick, submitted the following amend-
ment:
Strike out in line 4, section P, "one thousand" and insert
"six hundred dollars;"
Decided in the negative.
Mr. Buhrman submitted the following amendment:
Strike out all after the word "quarterly," in line 2, to the
end of the section; -
Decided in the negative.
Mr. Watkins submitted the following amendment:
Strike out section 7;
