80 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Jan. 26,
Which was read the first time and referred to the commit-
tee on Corporations.
On motion of Mr. McMaster,
Leave was granted Messrs. McMaster, Trail and Lansdale,
to report a bill entitled, an Act to regulate and pay the tra-
velling expenses of the General Assembly;
Also, leave was granted Messrs. McMaster, Earl, and
Holton, to report a bill entitled, an Act to authorize
the committee of the Presbyterian Church of Pitts Creek, in
Worcester county, to sell and convey certain real estate in
said county,
On motion of Mr. Waters,
Leave was granted Messrs. Waters, Earle and Stephenson,
to report a bill entitled, an Act to sanction and declare the
assent of the Legislature to a bequest of William W. Johns-
ton, late of Somerset county, to the vestry of Somerset parish,
Somerset county.
On motion of Mr. Earle,
Leave was granted the committee on Corporations, to re-
port a bill entitled, an Act to incorporate Corsica Lodge, No.
118, of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons.
On motion of Mr. Earle,
Leave was granted Messrs. Earle, Vickers and Wells, to
report a bill entitled, an Act to authorize the County Com-
missioners of Queen Ann county, to submit to the people of
said county, at the next ensuing election of Delegates of the
General Assembly, the question whether they will be taxed
in a sum not exceeding fifty thousand dollars, to be applied
to the construction of the Queen Anne and Kent County
Railroad.
On motion of Mr. Earle,
Leave was granted Messrs. Earle, Vickers and Davis, of
Caroline, to report a bill entitled, an Act to authorize the
County Commissioners of Queen Anne county, to levy a tax
of one thousand dollars on the taxable property of said
county, to construct a causeway from the main land to the
bridge constructed across Chester River, at Crumpton.
On motion of Mr. Ohr,
Leave was granted the committee on Elections to report a
bill entitled, an Act to enfranchise certain persons disquali-
fied under the Registration Law.
On motion of Mr. Trail,
