Mr. Fawcett, from a select committee, reported faxorably a bill entitled, an Act to prohibit the issuing of licenses for the sale of spirituous or fermented liquors within 3 1/2 miles of Burton's School House and Church, in the Fifth Election District of Montgomery county; Which was read the first time. Also, favorably a bill entitled, an Act to empower the county commissioners of Montgomery county, to re-open and. adjust the claim of Nathan Childs, for damages on a road, and to levy such additional sum as they may think rightly due him for damages as aforesaid; Which was read the first time.
