Parker, Pennington, Pilkington, Poteet, Rider, Rinehart,
Roberts, Shaw, Slothower, Smith, of Allegany, Smith, of
Dorchester, Smith, of Frederick, Soper, Stone, Tolson, Tull,
Usilton, Wardwell, Warner, Watkins, Williams, Wooden,
Zeigler—56.
Mr. Tull, from a select committee, reported favorably a bill
entitled, an Act to repeal sections 2, 4, 7, 11, 24 and 27, of
the Supplemental Code, vol. 3, entitled "Oysters," and to
re-enact sections 2, 4, 7, 11 and 24, and add addditional sec-
tions thereto;
Which was read the first time.
Also, favorably a bill entitled, an Act to restore the right of
citizenship to certain persons in Dorchester, Worcester and
Somerset counties;
Which was read the first time.
On; motion of Mr. Tull,
The said bill was referred to the committee on Registration.
Mr. Soper, from the committee on Ways and Means, re-
ported favorably a bill entitled, an Act to repeal the; 39th sec-
tion of the 56th article of the Code of Public General Laws, re-acting to non-resident traders, and to re-
enact the same;;
Which was read the first time.
Mr. Rinehart, from a select committee, reported favorably
a 'bill entitled, an Act to empower nine or more freehold
citizens of the State to construct railroads within certain
restrictions;
Which was read the first time.
Mr. Soper, from a select committee, reported favorably
Senate bill entitled, an Act to appropriate a sum of money to
the Children's Aid Society of Baltimore;
Which was read the second time.
Mr. Harris, from a select committee, reported favorably a
bill entitled, an Act to repeal section 5, of article 42, of the
Code of Public General Laws, relating to (lie office of Gov-
ernor, and to re-enact and amend the same;
Which was read the first time.
Mr. McCauley, from a select committee, reported favorably
a bill entitled, an Act to compel the Baltimore and Freder-
icktown Turnpike Company, leading from Baltimore towards
