Mr. McCauley moved to re-commit said bill to the Cecil county delegation; Decided in the affirmative. Mr. Hazen, from* a Select committee, reported favorably a bill entitled, an Act to repeal section 56 and 58, of chapter 24, passed at December Session, 1835, entitled, "An Act to authorize William Krebs, Richard Linthicum and William Linthicum, to build a bridge over Gwynn's Falls, at or near where the present bridge stands, known as the Long Bridge, and to enact substitutes therefor; Which was read the first time. Mr. Malone, from a Select committee, reported favorably a bill entitled, an Act to alter and change, the name of Edward Phippin, of Somerset county, to that of Edward Stallman; Which was read the first time. Mr. Comegys, from a Select committee, reported favorably a bill entitled, an Act to authorize and empower the County Commissioners of Kent county, to issue county bonds to an amount not exceeding fifty thousand dollars, to aid in com- pleting the Kent County Railroad, and to subscribe for stock in the Kent County Railroad Company, and to provide for the payment thereof; Which was read the first time; Mr. Miller, of Washington county, from a Select commits tee, reported favorably a bill entitled, an Act to compensate Col. E. M. Mobley for1 the loss3 of a horse in service of the military agency; Which was read the first time. Also favorably, a bill entitled, an Act to amend Article 21 of. the,. Code.of Public Local Laws relating to Washington county, by adding thereto an additional section, entitled, Hoop Poles and Timber;, Which was read the first time; Also favorably, a bill entitled, an Act to amend Article 21 of the Code of Public Local Laws relating to Washington county, by empowering the Mayor and Council of Hagers- town to open and repair sewers in 'said town; |
