On motion of Mr. Miller, of Washington, Leave was granted the Washington county delegation to report a bill to amend article 21 of the Code of Public Local Laws, relating to Washington county by adding thereto additional sections, authorizing the Mayor and Council of Hagerstown to open streets and alleys in said town. On motion of Mr. Watkins, Leave was granted the Montgomery county delegation to re- port a bill to enfranchise William Thompson of of R., Mont- gomery county. Also, leave was granted the Montgomery county delegation to report a bill to amend the act of 1865, chapter 174, entitled "Registration of voters." On motion of Mr. Garrison, Leave was granted the committee on Corporations to report a bill supplemental to an Act entitled, "an Act to incor- porate the Baltimore Fells Point Hebrew Friendship Con- gregation." On motion of Mr. Lee, Leave was granted the Baltimore city delegation to report a bill to give the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore city permission to levy a Fire Insurance Tax. . On motion of Mr. Smith, of Dorchester, Leave was granted the committee on Claims to report a bill to appropriate a sum of money to pay Col. James Wallace a gum money for legal services rendered the State. On motion of Mr. Rider; Leave was granted the Somerset county delegation to re- port a bill to prohibit the sale of spirituous liquors in the village of Sharptown, Somerset county. On motion of Mr. Foster, Leave was granted the committee on the Judiciary to report a bill to amend section two of article 106, laws of 1865 re- lating to bounties. On motion of Mr. King, Leave was granted -the committee on the Judiciary to report a bill to compel the President and Directors of the Baltimore |
