And be it further enacted, That the President, Directors and Secretary of the company, shall on the first of each and every January, make a sworn statement before a Justice of the Peace of Baltimore city, of the amount of gain, profit and losses (if any) of said Maryland Fire Insurance company. Section 7. And be it further enacted, That the President, Directors, Secretary of said Maryland Fire-insurance company, shall publish said statement of the condition of the company, in not less than three of the daily Newspapers published in Baltimore city; Which was adopted. The Secretary of the Senate delivered the following mess- age; By TUB SENATE, January 26, 1866. Gentlemen of the House of Delegates: We have received your message proposing a joint meeting of the two Houses in the Hall of the House of Delegates at 2 o'clock to-day and respectfully concur therein.
