Mr. Roberts presented a memorial from Wm. A. Barwick,
Benj. Coppage, and others, praying a repeal of the Registry
Law;
Which was read and referred to the committee on Registrar
tion.
Also a memorial from J. C. Sheppard, and numerous other
citizens of Queen Ann's county asking aid from the Commis-
sioners of said county to complete a causeway leading from
the town of Crumpton to the bridge over Chester river;
Which was read and referred to the Queen Ann's county
delegation.
On motion of Mr. Pilkington,
Ordered, That the Speaker of this House be requested to in-
form the Printer that the bills must be supplied to this House
in their regular numerical order.
On motion of Mr. Malone,
Ordered, That the order adopted yesterday, proposing two
Sessions a day on and after January 26th, be rescinded, and
the following be substituted in its stead: there shall be two
sessions of the House on and after January 29th 'commencing
at 11 A. M. and 7 1/2 P. M.
On motion of Mr. Lee,
Ordered, That the Baltimore city delegation have permis-
sion to leave the House for a half hour to meet a committee
of the City Council of that city.
Mr. Rider submitted the following order;
Ordered, That when this house adjourns it stand adjourned
until Monday the 29th at 11 o'clock.
Mr. Angel moved to lay said order on the table.
Decided in the negative.
The question recurring upon the adoption of the order.
Mr. Angel demanded the yeas and nays.
The demand being sustained,
