On motion of Mr. Zeigler,
Leave was granted the Washington county delegation, to
report a bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Mechanics
Mutual Insurance company of Washington- county.
Also, leave to report a bill entitled, an Act to incorporate
the Leitersburg Lamp and Tin Ware Manufacturing com-
pany,
On motion of Mr. Brown,
Leave was granted the Allegany county delegation, to re-
port a bill entitled, an Act to increase the compensation of
the clerk to the county Commissioners of Allegany county.
On motion of Mr. Rinehart,
Leave was granted the committee on Registration, to re-
port a bill entitled, an Act to amend section 9 and 11 of Re-
gistration Act, 1865, relating to printing notices and re-
turns.
On motion of Mr. Jones,
Leave was granted the committee on Corporations, to re-
port a bill entitled, an Act in relation to Foreign Insurance
companies
On motion of Mr. Pilkington,
Leave was granted the committee on Registration, to re-
port ii bill entitled, an Act to restore Henry Jones of the
Sixth Election District of St.. Mary's county, to. the rights of
citizenship.
On motion of Mr. Malone,
Leave was granted the Somerset county delegation, to re-
port a hill entitled, an Act to change the name of Edward
Chippin, of Somerset county, to that of Edward Stallman.
Mr. Jones, from the committee on Corporations, reported
favorably a bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Maryland
Land and Emigration company;
Which was read the first time.
Mr. McCauley, from the committee on the Judiciary, reported
favorably a bill entitled, an Act to amend the 35 article of
Public General Laws, by repealing all the sections of said
article, from sections 56 to gambling and to substitute the
within section;
Which was read the first time.
» Mr. Markey, from the committee on Corporations reported
favorably, a bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Harford
Fire Insurance Company of Baltimore;
Which was read the first time.
