Mr. Mules presented a petition from oyster dealers of Bal- timore city, praying the appointment of an Inspector of Oysters; Which was read and referred to the committee on Oysters. Mr. Wilson presented a petition from Samuel H. Birkhead and ninety other citizens of Hartford county, praying the re- peal of the Registry Law; Which was read and referred to the committee on Regis- tration. Mr. Nairne presented a petition from thirty citizens of Worcester county against the formation of a new county out of Somerset and Worcester counties; Which, was read and referred to the Somerset and Wor- cester county delegations. Mr. Hollo way presented a petition from one hundred and five citizens of Worcester county, praying for the modifica- tion of the Registry Law; Winch was read and referred to the committee on Regis- tration. Mr. Comegys presented a petition from sundry citizens of Kent county, praying for the passage of a law to authorize the county commissioners of Kent to issue bonds to aid in the construction of the Kent county railroad; |
