On motion of Mr. Watkins,
Leave was granted the Montgomery county delegation to
report a bill entitled, an Act to provide for the transcribing
of a Record Book in the office of the Register of Wills for
Montgomery county.
On motion of Mr. McCauley,
Leave was granted the Cecil county delegation to report a
hill to repeal and re-enact sections 66, 67, 68, 69 and 70, of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Cecil county, entitled,
"Elkton."
On motion of Mr. Hynes,
Leave was granted the committee on Corporations to re-
port a bill to. amend the charter of the Chesapeake and Dela-
ware Canal.
On motion of Mr. Darling,
Leave was granted the committee on Claims, to report a
Tail! for the relief of R. P, Bailey.
On motion of Mr. Cook,
Leave was granted the Baltimore city delegation to report
a bill entitled, an Act to authorize the Mayor and city Coun-
cil of Baltimore to furnish aid towards the construction of the
Western Maryland Railroad, from Hagerstown to Cumber-
land.
On motion of Mr. Darling,
Leave was granted a Select committee to report a Tail!
to authorize and direct the Board of School Commissioners;
for Calvert county to sell certain bank stock, and to apply the
proceeds to educational purposes in said county.
Also, leave to report a bill to authorize and direct the
county Commissioners of Calvert county to levy a tax to pay
off the indebtedness of said county to the Board of School
Commissioners of said county.
On motion of Mr. Pennington,
Leave -was granted the Cecil county delegation to report a
bill to provide for the repair or rebuilding of the county jail
in Cecil county.
Also, leave to report a bill to regulate the issuing of li-
cense for the sale of spirituous or fermented liquors within
the limits of the town of Cecilton, in Cecil county.
On motion of Mr. Mittag,
Leave was granted the Washington county delegation to
