Mr. Pennington presented a petition from citizens of Ce- cil ton in relation to the prohibition of' the sale of intoxicating liquors within the corporation; Which was read and referred to the Cecil county delega- tion. Mr. Cairnes presented a petition from Samuel Whiteford and. one hundred and fifty others, in favor of the repeal of the Registration law, Which was read and referred to the committee on Regis- tration. Mr. Markey presented a 'petition from 460 citizens of Washington, Frederick and Montgomery counties, praying the passage of an Act to incorporate the Chesapeake and. Lake Erie Railroad company; Which was read and referred to the committee on Corpo- rations. Mr. Buhrman presented a memorial from 73 citizens of Frederick county, Md., praying the passage of an Act incor- porating the Chesapeake and Lake Erie Railroad company; Which was read and referred to the committee on Corpo- rations. Mr. Barron presented a memorial from Richard P. Bailey, in reference to printing the Constitution; Which, was read and referred to the committee on Ways and Means.
