leading- from Licksville to Nolan's Ferry, and also from Licks-
ville to the mouth of the Monocacy, and the new designated
road leading to Nolan's Ferry, between the land of P. H.
Burch and D. J. Hunseld;
Which was read and. referred to the Frederick county del-
egation.
Mr. Silver presented a petition from Dr. Silas Scarborough
and 98 others, of Harford county, in. favor of the repeal of
the Registration law;
Also, a petition {'from. William H. Dallam and nine others,
to convey a lot of land to John Spalding, Archbishop of Bal-
timore, for the use of the pastor of' St. Mary's church, of
Harford. county;
Which was read. and referred to the committee on the Ju-
diciary.
Mr. Pennington presented a petition from citizens of Ce-
cil ton in relation to the prohibition of' the sale of intoxicating
liquors within the corporation;
Which was read and referred to the Cecil county delega-
tion.
Mr. Cairnes presented a petition from Samuel Whiteford
and. one hundred and fifty others, in favor of the repeal of
the Registration law,
Which was read and referred to the committee on Regis-
tration.
Mr. Markey presented a 'petition from 460 citizens of
Washington, Frederick and Montgomery counties, praying
the passage of an Act to incorporate the Chesapeake and.
Lake Erie Railroad company;
Which was read and referred to the committee on Corpo-
rations.
Mr. Buhrman presented a memorial from 73 citizens of
Frederick county, Md., praying the passage of an Act incor-
porating the Chesapeake and Lake Erie Railroad company;
Which was read and referred to the committee on Corpo-
rations.
Mr. Barron presented a memorial from Richard P. Bailey,
in reference to printing the Constitution;
Which, was read and referred to the committee on Ways
and Means.
The Speaker presented a petition from C. A. Gambrill &
Co., and others, praying the passage of an Act to incorpo-
