The joint resolutions in reference to amending the Constitu- tion in reference to the salaries of the Justices of the Court of Appeals, was taken up for consideration on their second reading. On motion of Mr. Tull, The resolutions were laid over indefinitely. The bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the United States Fire and Marine Insurance Company; Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. The bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Baltimore Rifle- Target Shooting Company; Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. The bill entitled, an Act to annul the Act to incorporate the Mineral. Hill Mining Company; Was read the second, time, amended, and ordered to be en- grossed for a third reading. The Secretary of the Senate delivered the following House bill: A bill entitled, an Act to authorize the Commissioners of Somerset county to aid in the completion of the Eastern Shore Railroad. Endorsed: "passed by yeas and nays." Also, the following Senate bills: The bill entitled; an Act to regulate and make uniform, the compensation of County Commissioners; Which was read the first time and referred to the commit- tee on the Judiciary.
