70 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Jan. 24, On motion of Mr. Waters, Was read the third time by special order, three-fourths concurring, and passed by yeas and nays as follow: AFFIRMATIVE.
NEGATIVE—None. The said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates. Mr. Wells from the committee on Judicial Proceedings, to which was referred the bill relating to fisheries in the wa- ters of the Potomac river; Reported said bill "ought not to pass." The report was adopted and the bill rejected. The said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates. Mr. Frazier, from the committee on Corporations, to which was referred the bill incorporating the Baltimore Warehouse and Security company, reported it with amendments; Which were read and adopted; and the bill Was read the second time. Mr. Frazier, from the committee on Corporations, to which was referred the bills to build a turnpike road in Carroll county; A bill to incorporate the town of Cecilton; Reported them without amendment; and they Were read the second time. Mr. Vickers, from the committee on Invalid Deeds, to which was referred the bill in favor of the Methodist Episco- pal church of Baltimore city; Reported it without amendment; and it Was read the second time. |
