On motion of Mr. Stone,
Leave was granted the Charles and St. Mary's counties
delegations to report a bill entitled, an Act. fixing the time
for holding the circuit courts in the first judicial circuit.
Also, leave was granted the committee on the Judiciary to
report a bill entitled, an Act to amend the Act of 1865, chap-
ter 126.
On motion of Mr. Hazen,
Leave was granted Messrs. Hazen, Poteet, Malone, Hollo-
way and Wooden to report a bill entitled, an Act to repeal
sections five, six and eight of an an Act passed at December
session, 1825, chapter 24, and to enact substitutes therefor.
On motion of Mr. Fawcett,
Leave was granted the Montgomery county delegation
to report a bill entitled, an Act to amend the charter of the
town of Rockville.
Mr. Soper, from the committee on Ways and Means, re-
ported-favorably a bill entitled, an Act to provide for the
payment of the Officers of Registration of this State their
offices and expenses.
Which was read the first time.
Mr. Wooden from the committee on Public Buildings, re-
ported favorably a bill entitled, an Act providing for refit-
ing and refurnishing the Executive Chamber;
Which was read the first time.
Mr. McCauley from the committee on the Judiciary, re-
ported favorably a hill entitled, an Act to repeal, section 16
and 29, of article 74 of the Code of Public General Laws re-
lating to profits, and tore-enact the same with amendments;
Which was read the first time.
Mr. Jones from the committee on Corporations, reported
favorably a bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Insulated
Lines Telegraph company;
Which was read the first time.
Also. favorably a bill entitled, an Act to authorize the
South Baltimore company, to hold land to the amount of live
thousand acres and to increase its capital;
Which was read the first time.
Mr. Slothower from the committee on Corporations, re-
ported favorably a hill entitled, an Act to incorporate the
Chesapeake and Lake Erie Railroad company;
