Foard and seventy-eight others, in relation to a bridge over the Bo- hemia Run; Which was read and referred to the committee on Ways and Means. Mr, Smith, of Frederick, presented a memorial from forty- five loyal citizens of Urbana district, Frederick county, against any change or modification of the Registration Law, passed January session, 1865; Which was read and referred to the committee on Regis- tration. Mr. Comegys presented a memorial from William Rogers, asking compensation for services as a registering officer in Kent county; Which -was read and referred to the committee on Claims. On motion of Mr. Smith, of Frederick, Leave was granted the committee on the Judiciary to re- port a bill to prohibit the Commissioners of the several coun- ties of the State and the City council of Baltimore from al- lowing extra compensation to their respective State's at- tornies. On motion of Mr. Soper, Leave was granted the committee on Corporations to re- port a bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the South Balti- more Coal Oil works. On motion of Mr. Malone, Leave was granted the Somerset and Worcester counties delegations to report a bill entitled, an Act for the improve- ment of Division street in the town of Salisbury, in the coun- ties of Somerset and Worcester, On motion of Mr. Rider, Leave was granted the Somerset and Dorchester counties delegations to report a bill entitled, an Act annexing Hol- land's Island to Somerset county. On motion of Mr. Valliant, Leave was granted the committee on the Judiciary to re- port a bill entitled, an Act providing for a revision of the Code of Laws of the State. |
