ing the largest number; it was decided in the negative.

On motion of Mr. Poteet,
Leave was granted the committee on Judiciary, to report
a bill to legalize the acts of George W. Ritter, a Justice of
the Peace for Baltimore county.
Also, leave was granted the Baltimore county Delegation,
to report a bill to incorporate a company to make a Turnpike
Road in Baltimore county.
On motion of Mr. Cook,
Leave was granted the committee on Judiciary, to report a
bill to repeal section 74, article 35 in the General Laws in
reference to the United States Senator.
On motion of Mr. Hambleton,
Leave was granted the committee on Corporations, to re-
port a bill to amend the charter of the Corn and Flour Ex-
change of Baltimore city.
On motion of Mr. Bartell,
Leave was granted to Messrs. Bartel, Shaw, Watkins,
Willis, Foster, to report a bill to encorage and facilitate Emi-
gration from Europe to the State of Maryland.
On motion of Mr. Pennington,
Leave was granted the Cecil county delegation, to report
a bill entitled, an Act supplementary to the Act of 1864,-
chapter 353, "entitled, an Act to incorporate the President
and Commissioners of the Town of Cecilton.
8 On motion of Mr. Valliant,
Leave was granted the Talbot county delegation, to report
a bill to restore Theodore P. Harrison, to full rights of Citi-
zenship.
Also, leave was granted the Talbot county delegation, to
report a bill abolishing the office of Armorer in the town of
Pastor, Talbot county.
On motion of Mr. King,
Leave was granted the committee on the Judiciary, to re-
port a bill to equalize and define the pay of Baling of the
Several Courts within the State;
