Which was read the first time.
Also, favorably the Senate bill entitled an Act for the re-
lief of Whitney, Medairy and Gushing of Baltimore;
Which was read the second time.
Mr. 'Willis from the the committee on Internal Improve-
ments, reported favorably the Senate bill entitled, an Act to
amend the Act of eighteen hundred and sixty, chapter 303,
entitled, an Act to carry into effect the 8 section of the Act
entitled, an Act for the promotion of internal improvements
passed at December Session, eighteen hundred and thirty-five
by applying a part of the appropriation made by said Act for
the purpose of internal improvements in Worcester county,
to the construction of the Wicomico and Pocomoke Railroad;
Which was read the first time.
Mr. Zeigler from the committee on Roads and Highways,
reported favorably, a bill entitled, an Act to regulate the
working of Public Roads in the State of Maryland;
Which was read the first time.
Mr. Jones from the committee on Corporations, reported
favorably, a supplement to an Act entitled, an Act to incor-
porate the President and Directors of the Maryland Fire In-
surance company of Baltimore, Maryland, passed at the Janu-
ary session, eighteen hundred and fifty-eight;
Which was read the first time.
Also, favorably, a further supplement to the Act of eighteen
hundred, and sixty, chapter 274, entitled, an Act to incorpo-
rate the Baltimore and Liberty Turnpike company;
Which was read the first time.
Also, favorably, a bill entitled, an Act to revive the Act of
incorporation of the town of New Windsor in Carroll county;
Which was read the first time.
Also, favorably, a bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the
Baltimore and Havana Steamship company;
Which was read the first time.
Also favorably, a bill to authorize the Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore, to endorse the first mortgage Bonds of
the Gwynn's Falls Railroad Company,
Which was read the first time.
Also, favorably, a bill to repeal sections 72, 73, 74, 75. 76,
77, 78, 79, 80, 81, 82, 83, 84 and 87 of article, one of the Code
of Public Local Laws, of vol. two, title "Allegany County,"
and re-enact the same with amendment;
