On motion of Mr, Whitney,
Leave way granted the Baltimore City Senators to report a
bill to add an additional section to the 56th article of the Code
of Public General Laws, entitled "Licenses" prescribing cer-
tain duties to the Sheriff of Baltimore City in relation to Licen-
ses, and repealing the act of January Session 1865, Chapter
142 relating to the Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas.
Mr. McNeal submitted the following order:
Ordered, That after Wednesday 24th inst., the Senate
'shall meet for business at 11'o'clock A. M., and 7 1/2 o'clock
P. M.
Mr. Earle moved to lay it upon the table,
Determined in the affirmative by yeas and nays as follow :

bill in favor of Spencer Bunting and otheri.
On motion of Air. Tome,
Leave was granted, the committee on Corporations to re-
port a bill entitled an Act, to amend article 26 of the Public
