Leave was granted the Baltimore county delegation to report
a hill authorizing the County Commissioners of Baltimore
county to sell certain Turnpike Stocks, and to appropriate the the
proceeds of the same for county purposes.
On motion of Mr. Smith, of Dorchester,
Leave was granted Messrs. Smith of Dorchester, Malone,
and Vvarner, to report a bill for the relief of Samuel Har-rington and others of Dorchester county.
On motion of Mr. McCauley,
Leave was granted the committee on Judiciary, to report
a bill relating to appeals from County Commissioners.
On motion of Mr. Hambleton,
Leave was granted the select committee on Oysters to re-
port a bill to amend the act of 1865, chapter 181, an Act
to repeal article 71 of the Code entitled, "Oysters."
On motion of Mr. Comegys,
Leave was granted the committee on Ways and Means to
report a bill to repeal the 83d section of the 81st article
of the Code of Public General Laws entitled, Ravenna and
Taxes, and to add a new section or sections in lieu thereof.
On motion of Mr. Robinson,
Leave was granted the committee on Ways and Means, to
report a bill to refund Henry Tydings certain State taxes
paid in error.
On motion of Mr. Williams,
Leave was granted the committee on Corporations, to re-
port a bill to incorporate the Plum Point Wharf Com-
pany of Calvert county.
On motion of Mr. Valliant,
The committee on Elections were permitted to sit during
the sessions of the House, i
Oil motion of Mr. Tolson,
Leave was granted the committee on Inspections, to report
a hill repealing section 4 of the supplemental Code- No. 2,
relating to the weighing of grain in the city of' Baltimore,
and to enact a substitute therefor.
On motion of Mr. Williams,
Leave was; granted the Prince George's and Calvert dele-
gation;';, to report a hill to authorise John Gibson, of Cal-
vert county, to receive his property from his guardian, and
to execute a valid release to her for the same.
