Mr. McCauley, from the committee on the Judiciary, re-
ported favorably an Act to authorise James McCauley, execu-
tor of Emily Galloway, late of Cecil county, deceased, to pay
to Samuel W. Vanculin, Executive officer of the Disciples'
Church of the city of Philadelphia, a legacy bequeathed to
the poor of said church by the last will and testament of said
deceased;
Which was read the first time.
Also, favorably, an Act to repeal section 13 of article 29 of
the Code of Public General Laws, relating to the inspection
of records, and to re-enact the-same with amendments;
Which was read the first time.
Also, favorably, an act to add an additional section to the
twenty-eighth Article of the Code of Public General Laws,
relating to the pay of County Commissioners, and to repeal
all the sections of the several articles of the Code of Public
Local Laws relating to the pay of County Commissioners;
Which was read the first time,
Also, favorably, an Act to add a new section relating to re-
moval of causes to Article seventy-five of the Code of Pub-
lic General Laws entitled, Pleadings, Practice and Process,
and to amend the seventy-fourth and seventy-fifth sections of
said article, relating to the removal of causes;
Which was read the first time.
Also, favorably, a bill entitled, an Act to provide for chang-
ing of names by application to the Judges of the several Circuit
courts of this State, and of the Circuit Court of Baltimore
city.
Which was read the first time.
Also, favorably, a hill entitled, an Act to alter and change
the name of John W. Pitcock of Baltimore county, to that
of John W. Baker.
Which was read the first time.
Also, favorably, a bill entitled, an Act to vest. the title to
certain lands in Montgomery county, in certain parties, the
reputed widow and children of Richard Snowden, deceased, a
person of color.
Which was read the first time.
Mr. Jones from the Committee on Corporations report-
ed favorably, a bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the
President and Directors of the Baltimore and Pikesville Bail-
road company of Baltimore.
Which was read the first time.
