Mr. McMaster from the Select committee, reported a bill to incorporate and protect the Pocomoke Marine Railway com- pany; Which was read the first time. Mr. Eaton from the Select committee, reported a bill enti- tled, an Act to incorporate the Merchants Steam Ship Line; Which was read the first time. Mr. McMaster presented the petition of T. A. Mitchell; Re- ferred to the committee on Finance. Mr. Davis, of Washington, from the Select committee, re- ported a bill in favor of the Antietam Cemetery; Which was read the first time. The Clerk of the House of Delegates delivered the follow- ing Bills: A bill Incorporating the President and commissioners of the town of Cecilton; Which was read the first time, and Referred to the committee on Corporations. A bill to authorize the Commissioner of the Land Office to issue a patent for a tract of Land called Saint Barts ; Which was read the first time, and Referred to the committee on Invalid Deeds. A bill for the relief of S. Harrington and others; Which, was read the first time, and Referred to the committee on Judicial Proceedings. |
