On motion of Mr. Sherry,
Leave was granted the committee on Corporations, to re-
port. a hill to incorporate the Boat and Transportation com-
pany of Allegany county.
On motion of Mr. Markey, '
Leave was granted the committee on Corporations, to re-
port a bill to incorporate the Chesapeake and Lake Erie Rail-
road company.
On motion of Mr. Markey,
Leave was granted the committee on the Judiciary, to re-
port, a bill to make valid a deed from John Smith and wife
to John W. Fogle.
On motion of Mr. Harris,
Leave was granted Messrs. Harris, Slothower, Hodson,
Everhart and Miller, of Anne Arundel, to report a bill for
the sale of the Governor's mansion and grounds attached, to
the General Government for the enlargement of the Naval
Academy.
On motion of Mr.Cllft,
Leave was granted the Caroline county delegation, to re-
port a bill to revive the corporation of the village of Greens-
borough, Caroline county.
Mr. Foster, submitted the following resolution:
He-solved, That the committee on Elections, be, and they
are hereby instructed in the consideration of all contested
election cases which now are or which may hereafter be pend-
ing before this House, to regard as final and conclusive, the
findings and conclusions of the officers of registration of each
ward in the city of Baltimore, and of each election district in
the several counties of the State, as to all facts which by the
Constitution and Laws of the State, it is made the duty of
said registers to inquire into and determine;
Which was read the first time.

The resolution was read the second time, and passed by
