Leave was granted the committee on Claims to report a
bill appropriating a sum of money to pay Thomas E. Dell,
for supplemental Codes furnished to the Library.
On motion of Mr. Slothower,
Leave was granted the committee on Corporations to re-
port a bill to enact a further supplement to the Act of 1860,
chapter 2? 4, entitled, "an Act to incorporate the Baltimore
and Liberty Turnpike company."
Also, leave was granted the committee on the Judiciary to
report a bill to add an additional section to Article third of
the Code of Public Local Laws, fixing the compensation of
the standard keeper of weights and measures of Baltimore
county.
On motion of Mr. Pilkington,
Leave was granted the committee on the Judiciary to
report a bill to amend an Act passed May 19, 1853, to incor-
porate the Maryland Institution for the Instruction of the
Blind, by repealing the third section of the said Act, and
to re-enact withamendments.
Also, leave was granted the committee on Registration to
report a bill to amend the second section of the Act passed
March 24, 1: 1865, entitled, "an Act to provide for the Regis-
tration of Births, Marriages and Deaths,"
On motion of Mr. King,
Leave was granted the committee on Corporations, to re-
port a bill to incorporate the Southern Fast Freight Line;
Also, leave was granted the committee on the Judiciary,
to report a bill to repeal certain words contained in section
1, of an Act passed March 10th, 1862, entitled, an Act to
amend the charter of the Baltimore and Hartord Turnpike
company.
On motion of Mr. Harris,
Leave was granted the committee on the Judiciary, to re-
port a bill entitled, an Act to add a new section relating to
the removal of causes.
On motion of Mr. Calvert,
Leave was granted the committee on Claims, to report a
bill to compensate E. W. Belt, for professional services ren-
dered the State.
On motion of Mr. Chew,
Leave was granted the committee on Claims, to report
a bill to appropriate a sum of money to pay F. Sasscer. clerk
of the Circuit court for Prince George's county, certain fees
due to him by the State.
