On motion of Mr. Hopkins,
Leave was granted the Harford county delegation to re-
port a bill for a sale of lots in the town of Havre de Grace,
Harford county,
On motion of Mr. Smith, of Dorchester,
Leave was granted the Dorchester county delegation to re-
port a bill to protect timber in Dorchester county.
On motion of Mr. Tull,
Leave was granted the committee on the Judiciary to re-
port a bill entitled, an Act to amend sections 56, 57, 58,
69, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65 and 66, of the thirtieth Article of
the Code of Public General Laws, relating to gambling, and
re-enacting other sections in lieu thereof.
On motion of Mr. Lusby,
Leave was granted the committee on Corporations to re-
port a bill to incorporate the Maiden's Choice Passenger
Railway company.
On. motion of Mr. Smith, of Frederick,
Leave was granted the committee on the Judiciary to re-
port a bill to empower the Governor to furnish duplicate
discharges to all Maryland volunteers during the recent re-
bellion, who may have been deprived of the same without
any fault or negligence upon their part.
On motion of Mr. McCullough,
Leave was granted Messrs. McCullough, Smith, of Alle-
gany, Buhrman, Fawcett and Cronise to report a bill to
repeal sections 58, 71 and 85 of Article 56 of the Code of
Public General Laws relating to license, and enacting the
following sections in lieu thereof.
On motion of Mr. Miller, of A, A.,
Leave was granted the Anne Arundel county delegation to
report a bill to incorporate Annapolis Lodge, No. 89, of An-
cient, Free and Accepted Masons.
On motion of Mr. Fawcett,
Leave was granted the committee on the Judiciary to re-
port a bill to carry into effect the latter clause of the 49th
section, 3d Article of the Constitution, relating to mar-
riages.
