On motion of Mr. Hazen,
Leave was granted the committee on Corporations, to re-
port a bill to amend section 14, article 39, Code Public Gen-
eral Laws, entitled, "Ferries."
On motion of Mr. Cook,
Leave was granted the committee on the Judiciary to re-
port a bill to exempt a certain amount of property from execu-
tion.
On motion of Mr. Hambleton,
Leave was granted the committee on Corporations, to re-'
port a bill to incorporate the Maryland Military Institute.
On motion of Mr, Mittag,
Leave was granted the Washington county delegation, to
repor a bill to prevent the sale of spirituous or fermented
liquors on or near the line of the Washington county Rail-
road;
Also, leave was granted the committee on Corporations, to
report a bill to incorporate the Hagerstown Lumber and Coal
company,
On motion of Mr. Brown,
Leave was granted the committee on Corporations, to re-
port a bill to authorize all railroads and railway companies
to run their trains or cars for conveying passengers on the
Sabbath day.
On motion of Mr. Angel,
Leave was granted the committee on the Judiciary, to re-
port a bill to repeal section 13, of article 29, or the Code of
Public General Laws, relating to the inspection of records,
and to re-enact the same with amendments.
On motion of Mr. Robinson,
Leave was granted the committee on the Judiciary, to re-
port a bill to amend the act of 1864, relating to the duties
and compensation of the Sheriff in the Court of Appeals;
Also, leave was granted the Anne Arundel county delega-
tion, to report a bill to alter and establish the divisional line
of the second and fourth Election Districts of Anne Arundel
county;
Also, to report a bill to make valid the action of Charles
R. Stewart, as Commissioner, in the division of certain real
estate in Anne Arundel county.
