On motion of Mr. Jones,
Leave was granted the committee on Corporations, to re-
port a bill to amend the Charter of the Powhatan-Steamboat
company;
Also, to report a bill to amend the Charter of the "Western
Avenue company.
Also, to report, a bill to incorporate the Baltimore and
Savannah Steamship company,
Also, leave was granted the' committee on the Judiciary,
to report a bill to amend article 72, of the Code of Public
General Laws, relating to limited Partnership.
On motion of Mr. Rider,
Leave was granted the committee on Roads and Highways,
to report a, bill for the better regulation of the duties of Road
Supervisors in the State.
On motion of Mr. Leaverton,
Leave was granted the Talbot county delegation, to report
a bill to repeal section 125, 126, 127, 128 and 129, of article
20, of the Code of Public Local Laws, relating to Roads in
Talbot county, and to enact a section or sections in lieu there-
of.
On motion of Mr. King,
Leave was granted the committee on the Judiciary, to re-
port a bill to change the name of John W. Pitcock to John
W. Baker.
On motion of Mr. Dean,
Leave was granted the Allegany county delegation, to re-
port a bill entitled, an Act to repeal section 57 of article 19, of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Allegany county, relating
to Deer, and to reenact the same with amendment;
Also, leave was granted the committee on Corporations, to
report a bill to incorporate a Lumber, Mining, Manufactur-
ing and Coal Oil company in Allegany county. ^
On motion of Mr. Miller, of Washington county,
Leave was granted the committee on the Judiciary, to re-
port a bill to repeal sections 1 and 2, chapter 71, of a bill
passed 1864, entitled, an Act to add to the 41st article of the
Code of Public General Laws, in relation to fish and fisheries
relating to the waters of the Potomac River, lying between
the mouth of New Creek and Weaverton Dam.
