Amend by inserting in the blank the- words, "Speaker of
the House of Delegates and President of the Senate;
Which was decided in the affirmative.
The resolutions having been read the second time, were

Said resolutions were then sent to the Senate.
On motion of Mr. Cook,
The vote by which the order submitted by. Mr. Poteet, re-
questing the Speaker to designate two pages to arrange the
Journals of Members, was reconsidered.
The question recurring on the adoption of the order,
Mr, Pilkington submitted an amendment allowing the
Speaker to appoint two additional pages not exceeding six-
teen years of age for the purpose named;
Which was decided in the negative.
The question then being upon the adoption of the order
submitted by Mr. Poteet,
It was decided in the affirmative.
