The Secretary of the Senate delivered the following mes-
sage:
BY THE SENATE,
January 12th, 1866.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates:
We propose with your concurrence the appointment of a
joint special committee, composed of one from the Eastern
Shore and one from the Western and one from the city of
Baltimore, to act with the committee already appointed by the
House on the subject of a revaluation and reassessment of
the real and personal property of the State.
. We appoint, upon the part of the Senate, Messrs. Billings-
lea, of Carroll, Turner and McMaster.

C. HARWOOD,
Secretary.
Which was read and. laid on the table.
The rules being suspended;
Mr. Jones, from the committee, on Corporations, reported
favorably a bill entitled, an Act further to amend the Charter
of the Firemen's Insurance company of Baltimore;
Which was read the first time and recommitted.
On motion of Mr. Poteet,
Ordered, That when this House adjourns to-day it be to
meet at 11 o'clock A. M. on Monday next.
Mr. Jones, from the committee on Corporations, reported
favorably the bill entitled an Act to extend the time pre-
scribed by the 52d section of the 26th article of the Code of
Public General Laws for the payment of the whole capital
subscribed to the Gaehle's Piano Manufacturing company of
the city of Baltimore, incorporated on the 29th of March,
1864, under the provisions of the Code of Public General
Laws, by an amendment of its act of incorporation.
Which was read the first time.
Mr. Lee, of Baltimore city, moved that the House adjourn;
Upon which Mr. Buhrman, demanded the yeas and nays:
