60 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Jan. 23, TUESDAY, January 23, 1866. Mr. Stephenson presented the memorial of the Judges of the Orphans court of Harford county; Which was read and referred to Messrs. Stephenson, Lans- dale and Trail. Mr. Eaton presented the petition of L. Wilmer praying relief; Which was read and referred to Messrs. Eaton, Jenkins and Tome. Mr. Earle presented the memorials of citizens of Queen; Anne's county, asking a repeal of the Registration Law; Which were read. The hour having arrived for considering the order of the- day. On motion of Mr. Davis, of Caroline, It was postponed for half hour. Mr. Davis, of Caroline, moved to refer the memorials to the committee on Elections; Determined in the affirmative by yeas and nays, as follow:
On motion of Mr. Davis, of Caroline, Leave was granted the committee on judicial Proceedings, to report a bill to repeal sections 43 and 41 of article six of the Public Local Laws, and to re-enact the same with amendments. |
