1866.] OF THE SENATE. 59 Mr. Eaton from the select committee to which was referred, the bill in favor of the M. E. Church, in Baltimore city, Reported it without amendment; And it was read the second time; Also, from the same committee, reported without amend- ment, a bill relating to a new city hall in Baltimore city; And it was read the second time; Mr. Davis, from the Select committee reported a bill to in- corporate the Trustees of a church in Caroline county; Which was read the first time. The bill to incorporate the Workingmen's Co-operative Store of Cumberland; Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as follow: AFFIRMATIVE.
Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates. The bill to promote Temperance and Good Morals; Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as fol- low: AFFIRMATIVE.
NEGATIVE—Mr. Jenkins. Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates. The bill to incorporate the Maryland Insurance company of Baltimore; Was referred to the committe on Judicial Proceedings. The Senate adjourned. |
