of the four churches in Mechanicstown, Frederick county.
On motion of Mr. Markey,
Leave was granted the committee on the Judiciary to report
a bill entitled an Act to add an additional section to the
twenty-eighth article of the Code of Public General Laws, re-
lating to the pay of County Commissioners, and to repeal all
the sections of the several articles of the Code of Public Local
Laws relating to the pay of County Commissioners.
Also, to report a bill entitled, an Act supplementary to an
Act authorizing the transcribing of certain records of indexes
in the office of the Register of Wills for Frederick county,
passed by the General Assembly of Maryland at its January
session, 1858, chapter 28.
On motion of Mr. Markey,
Leave was granted the Frederick county delegation to re-
port a bill to repeal section 310, of article 11, of the Code of
Public Local Laws, entitled, "Frederick county," and to re-
enact the same with an amendment.
Also, leave was granted the committee on Claims to report
a bill entitled, an Act to authorize Grayson Eishelberger,
State Bounty Commissioner of Frederick county, to pay Dennis
H. Maynard certain bounties.
On motion of Mr. Slothower,
Leave wag granted the committee on the Judiciary to re-
port a bill to amend and re-enact the 27th section, of article
38, of the Code of Public General Laws relating to Sheriffs'
fees.
On motion of Mr. Chew,
Leave was granted the committee on the Judiciary to re-
port an act to restore the full rights of citizenship to persons
who may be disqualified from voting by reason of the provi-
sions contained in the 4th section of the 1st article of the
Constitution of this State.
On motion of Mr. Hynes,
Leave was granted the committee on Corporations to report
a bill to repeal the charter of the Baltimore and Philadelphia
Turnpike company.
On motion of Mr. Lee, of Baltimore city,
Leave was granted a select committee to report a bill for
the adoption of destitute and orphan children.
