The said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates.
Mr. Wells. from the committee on Judicial Proceedings,
to which was referred the following bills:
A bill to change the name of B. H. Greenhawk;
A biil to legalize the election of Trusstees of the First Lu-
theran church of Frostburg;
A bill to incorporate the Council of the Evangelical Lu-
theran church of Williamsport;
A hill to repeal section 38 of Article 28 of General Laws,
and re-enact the same with amendment?;
A bill to prohibit the issuing of any license for the 'ale of
liqour within three miles of the churches in Mechanicstown,
in Frederick county;
Reported them without amendment; and they
Were read the second time.
Mr. Tome, from the committee on Finance, reported a bill
to repeal section 102 of Article 81 of General Laws, ana to re-
enact the following;
Which, was read the first time.
Also, reported a bill to repeal the 434 section of Article
29 of General Laws, relating to the Crier of the Court of
Appeals;
Which was read the first time.
Mr. McNeal, from the committee on Internal Improve-
ments; to which was referred the hill to incorporate the Bal-
timore and Liberty Turnpike company, in Carroll county.
Reported it without amendment; and the bill
Was read the second time.
Mr. Tome, from the committee on Finance, reported a bill
in favor of the Children's Aid Society of Baltimore;
Which was read the first time.
Mr. Frazier, from the committee on Corporations, to which
was referred the bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the South-
ern Fast Freight Line company;
Reported, without amendment; and. it
Was read the second. time.
Also, reported a hill to incorporate the Baltimore File
company, with the following amendment;
