1866.] OF THE SENATE. 53 Leave was granted the committee on Finance to report a bill in favor of the Lieutenant Governor of the State of Maryland. On motion of Mr. Turner, Leave was granted the committee on Corporations to report a bill to incorporate the Maryland Industrial School fur Girls. On motion of Mr. Eaton, Leave was granted the committee on Corporations to report a bill to incorporate a Railroad from Point Lookout to the District of Columbia. On motion of Mr. Whitney, Leave was granted the committee on Invalid Deeds to re- port a hill to make valid a deed from the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal company to Chauncey Brooks of Baltimore city. On motion of Mr. Ohr, Leave was granted the committee on Judicial Proceedings to report a bill entitled, an Act to repeal section four of article sixty of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Marriage" and re-enact the same with amendments. Mr. Wells from the committee on Judicial Proceeding's to which was referred, the bill changing the name of B. A. Rogers, Reported it without amendment; Which was read the second time. Mr. Ohr, from the committee on Internal improvements to which, was referred the bill authorizing the Mayor and. city Council of Cumberland to build a bridge; Reported it without amendment; Which was read the second time and. ordered to be engross- ed for a third reading. On motion of Mr. Ohr, Was read the third time, three-fourths concurring, and passed by yeas and nays as follow: AFFIRMATIVE.
