50 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Jan. 19, Mr. Billingslea, of Carroll, submitted the following; Add the following; Section 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall continue in force form the space of two years only from the date of its passage; Determined in the negative. The bill was then read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. On motion of Mr. Trail, It was read the third time by special order, three-fourths concurring and passed by yeas and nays as follow: AFFIRMATIVE.
Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates. Mr. Wells from the committee on Judicial Proceeding to which was referred the bill in favor of the Eastern Shore Railroad, reported it without amendment; and., It was read the second, time and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading, and, On motion of Mr. Waters, It was read the third time by special order, three-fourths. concurring, and passed by yeas and nays as follows: AFFIRMATIVE.
