It will be seen by the Report of the Trustees that a ballance of some $8,000 remains to be furnished in order to make the work complete; when it is not doubted, that our sister States will co-operate in such further contributions as may lead to the prompt removal of their own dead to the place provided by your liberality, and at the same time show their appreciation of the brave troops who gave up their lives that our glorious Union might be preserved.
