AN ACT to procure suitable frames to contain
the address of General George Washington, de-
livered on the occasion of the resignation of his
commission as Commander-in-Chief of the Ameri-
can forces, and the reply thereto of the Con-
gress of the United States, then in session at
the city of Annapolis, in December, seventeen
hundred and eighty-three. |

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Comptroller of the Treasu-
ry be, and he is hereby directed to issue his war-
rant on the Treasurer to pay to the order of the
Secretary of the Senate the sum of three hundred
and eighty-five dollars, or so much thereof as may
be necessary to procure suitable frames as set forth
in the title to this Act, and to carry into effect the
purposes of the Resolutions offered in his place by
the Senator from Baltimore county, and adopted
by the Senate in relation thereto, on the nineteenth
of February of this current year. |

AN ACT to amend the charter of the Kent County
Railroad Company, passed January Session,
eighteen hundred and fifty-six, chapter 148, en-
titled an Act to incorporate the Kent County
Railroad Company "to secure the completion of
the said road by the issuing of additional bonds
of the company, and to provide for the payment
of the State's subscription for stock in said com-
pany to waive the State's lien. |
